Hi there is multiple installed ispconfig server: Master Mail Database Now there is new server and i want to connect Mail server to this new server (that has installed ispconfig) [ I don't move anything from Master server ] but i want to connect Mail server( with installed ispconfig too) to New server So i should change ip of master server in mail server to New server? also there is ispcsrv3 user in master server so i should create this user on new server? thats enough ?
i changed ip in /etc/hosts also create user ispcsrv3 in new server also export record from server to new server and make a email domain in new server but nothing happen in mail server
i could not connect my mail server to new server should i do expert install on mail server and put new ip ? so it doesn't remove my data ?
You can not connect an existing (used) slave to an empty new master. Only the master contains all data, a slave contains only a subset of the data in its local database, so connecting a non-empty slave to an empty master makes no sense as no data will show up in the master. If you want to move a master server, then you have to move the master database to the new server as well.
