    Hi all,

I am using squid 2.6.18-1ubuntu3 Ubuntu 8.04 and i am in need of blocking a set of users at a particular time or allow internet access only during say 6pm-8pm. They should not have access to internet anytime after or before this.

This requirement is for samba users who login to the samba domain using winxp.

Can anybody help me configure squid to do this?

    Thanks
    Avinash

Thanks, the link has a lot of information about squid. .. also sounds pretty complicated for me. I have a very simple squid confiugration. Now, i am in need of blocking samba domain users internet access or allow them only at a particular time without authentication. Not only for one user but for a group of users..

    :D

Did u actually read the actual part on how to setup time based ACL's ? There is nothing "complicated" there.
