I would like to change my password after logging in squirrelmail but I don't see any option in that.
I want the user to have the option of changing the password assigned by the Administrator for privacy.

You can not change the password in squirrelmail as squirrelmail has not the permissions to change linux user passwords.

    How do i fix it?
    there is a change_password folder in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/squirrelmail/plugins

sure there must be a way to allow a mail user to change his password otherwise the ispconfig admin can sneak in into the user's emails

Sure thesre is, bit not in squirrelmail. The login for the email users is:

    http://www.yourdomain.com:81/mailuser/

and do not replace mailuser with the username.

    That would do the job.

    Thanks for the tip.
