I want to make some minor adjustments to my ispconfig3 installation regarding mail. Currently my servers uses SSL and TLS on port 25. I want to make the setup as below: SMTP server (Plain): port 25 SMTP server (TLS): port 587 SMTP server (SSL): port 993 IMAP/POP3 server (plain): 143,110 IMAP/POP3 server (SSL): 995 Can someone direct me how to do this please. If you followed one of the recent perfect server tutorials, then all these ports should be enabled already.
I followed one the very first perfect server tutorials and as things update I did too. I can see dovecot is listening on ports 993 & 995 but when I try to telnet on 993 I don't get my server message. I can succesfully connect on 25 and 587, as well as 110 and 143, but not the SSL ports yet. I don't really get what's wrong
Regarding dovecot: please check the mail.log for errors. Regarding postfixlease post the master.cf file.
There aren't any errors in mail.log or mail.err. Not a single warning at all. I migrated from courier on my last update and somehow dovecot doesn't have an init script.
