    Hi All,

I am using RHEL4 and RHEL5. Can someone help me to understand how to configure all logs? i got some clue that all logs are configured in /etc/syslog.conf. Isnt it ?
Please recommend me some howtos regarding how to configure and monitor logs? Is there any way to set alerts by automatic emails to someone (me ) for all logs ??

    Many thanks in advance.

    Cheers.

You can use logwatch to receive summaries of the logs by email
