Hello, could you tell me how to configure Postfix to have my own POP and SMTP servers ? For example, I've a lot of domains and I would like to personalize both mail servers, like pop.mydomain.com and smtp.mydomain.com I know it's possible but I don't find any information about it on the web. Is someone can explain to me how to do that (main.cf, MX, ...) ? Thank you in advance for your help EDIT: servers can be something like mail.mydomains.com, the matter thing is that servers are personalized ! Thx
This configuration has nothing to do with postfix, its just a DNS issue. You must create A-records for pop.mydomain.com and smtp.mydomain.com pointing to your server IP. Thats all, no postfix configuration needed.
