You can create databases e.g. with phpmyadmin.

So there is no way to create database with the desired name in ISPConfig2. Anyways, I don't see the installation of phpmyadmin at "Perfect Server - CentOS 5.3 ISPConfig 2" tutorial.

Can I allow users to edit database name in ISPConfig2? Can I do it like in cPanel?

determine prefix like user1_databaseName. Allow user to edit databaseName. So it won't conflict with others database name even if users create any name of database.

This feature exists in ISPConfig 3 but not in ISPConfig 2.

ISPConfig 2 can not be updated to ISPConfig 3 as they have completely different system requiremenst and follow a different concept of server configuration (linuy system users vs. virtual users).

I know it could be bug if users create duplicate name. but if you can you modify this script to allow administrator to edit the name?
