Hi, How do I enable SSH access for a web user (web1, web2, etc.)? ISPConfig Version: 3.0.3.3 Thanks, _da.
Just create a ssh user under sites > Shell-User in ispconfig. The steps are also described in detail in the ispconfig manual.
Thats possible of course. I described that in post #2, just press on the button "Add new shell user" to add a new shell user
I know how to do that, but I don't want [CLIENTNAME]web2, just "web2". I want to login as the "web2" user so that if I add files or folders for example, they are owned by that user. Is it possible to just update /etc/passwd?
Why havent you just tried what I asked you to do? If you would have done that or if you had get the ispconfig manual, then you would have recognized that you ARE user web2 when you login...
