    Hello, all!
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.6 AS can't start. Says:
    Code:
Booting 'Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS(2.6.9-67.ELsmp)'
    root(hd0,0)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.9-67.ELsmp ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet
    Error 15: File not found
    Press any key to continue...
On forums it says to fix it with recovery mode from Red Hat disc, but I haven't any. Tried to start from USB Ubuntu 11.10 but can't found that disc 'cause there is no hd* or sd* in /dev but tons of another devices which whom I know only cdrom
    fdisk -l gave nothing
    Automatically mounted in media
    _boot cdrom
in _boot folders grub and lost+found and files related to 2.6.9-67 so I think they are related to Red hat not ubuntu
but in grub folder files grub.conf and menu.lst are empty so I don't know what and where I must insert to fix grub loader
Hard disk type is special 10k SAS Single Port, so I can't even connect it to another computer to save data and reinstall system (all another computers have only IDE or SATA ports). Anyone help, please?

Ah, you use RHEL 4.6. You should probably download a CentOS 4.x CD/DVD then.
