How To Integrate ClamAV Into PureFTPd For Virus Scanning On Debian Squeeze

    Hi there

    My ClamAV log is full of WARNING: lstat() failed on: (filename)...
    I guess this is a permission problem (I tried Google)?

    BTW, is it safe to use this on shared hosting or will it kill my CPU? I guess scanning a lot of small files will increase CPU usage a lot?

    Did you check if the mentioned files exist and what their permissions are?

    It depends. I think you will have to watch this for a while.

    Hi falko

    They do exist since they are the files I uploaded through FTP (and the path is correct).
    Permissions are normal, meaning 644 for files, 755 for folders and assigned to the FTP user.
