How to prevent an Open Mail-Relay?

    I'm not sure how to configure postfix with ISP. I don't wanna have an open relay.

    Use one of the perfect setup howtos, the postfix configuration enables sasl authentication and configures postfix to relay only for 127.0.0.1.

    Use the openrelay test on www.dnsreport.com to be sure that you arent acting open-relay. Good luck!
