how to read date heades of emails

I have setup a postfix server with virtual users as per the guide on fedora 13. After bit of tweaking, everything is working as expected. We have integrated the existing emails to land into this server using fetchmail.

The problem is with the date of old emails. Postfix shows current date as date of email because it is receiving the email today. Is there someway to show the original date of the email rather than the date of receiving into postfix - date headers?

    Much thanks and regards
