Hi there, I have a nice squid that redirect port 80 perfectly. But I have some problems with port 443 (https) specially with in lan servers. How can I tell to squid that redirect port 443 to something like 3128 or 3129 and or forward it to clients can access to these secure sites? I think this problem is about some websites no all!! Thank you all,,
That is not possible, you cannot intercept https traffic. To do that would defeat why the protocol was created in the first place and open it to man in the middle attacks.
Dear Topdog, So how can I deal with the https traffic that should be passed through squid? a part of 443 traffic can not transited from cache server!!!! Regards,
