How to setup a dedicated IP for a website?

    Hi there,

    what is the process to setup a dedicated IP for a website in ISPConfig3 ?

    Would be great if someone could write a how to do. :)

    Which files i have to edit before i setup the IP under System/IPAddresses
    in ISPconfig3 admin area?

    1) Add the IP in the Linux system.
    2) Add the IP in ISPConfig under System > Server IP.
    3) Select this IP in the website settings.

    There is a howto in the ispconfig 3 manual "5.18 How Do I Manually Configure New IP Addresses On My System?".

    On Debian / Ubuntu you edit the file /etc/network/interfaces, in OpenSuSE you use yast and in Centos/ Fedora you use the system-config-network command.
