    Hi there,

Is there any info on how to skin ISPConfig? I think smarty templates are used? Can I just edit the files under /home/adminispconfig/ispconfig/web? Will my changes be preservered between upgrades?

    thanks

    1. yes, that is where you make changes to the template (skin)

    2. and no, the changes will NOT be saved when you upgrade, when you upgrade all that will be overwritten

i have changed mine around a little, then upgraded, and then poof, its all gone :p

    yes

    No, fasttemplate.
    no.

have a look at the folders:

    /home/adminispconfig/ispconfig/web/design/default

    and

    /home/adminispconfig/ispconfig/web/templates

Modifications will not be preserved on update, make a abckup of your theme and play it back after an upgrade. The files in these folders have not been changed for some time and i dont think they will change with the next updates.

    Hi Falko,

A little disapointed, i purchased the Manual but there is no documentation on ISPConfig templates or API.

Is there any documentation on how to create a new skin for ISPConfig ?

I also need to know what all the API callls are, is there any doc on this?

    Hi Falko,

thanks for the reply. I realized this is in the ISPConfig2 forum, my questions were for V3.

Ok for Skins we can figure that out by looking at your templates.

For API it would be nice if you could add a section in the Manual or at least have some minimal info on FaqForge?

    thanks!
