There is no update needed as the signatures are up to date. This has been explained in the forum quite a few times
I agree with @till . Besides, most likely your operating system (which you do not bother to reveal) does get the update when it is ready. In Debian GNU/Linux the version 0.101.1+dfsg-2 of clamav is already in Experimental distribution. My guess is the maintainer keeps it in Experimental because it does not work yet. It gets to the stretch-updates when it does work enough.
