How to upgrade MariaDB/Mysql?

    Wondering if there is a latest reference on how-to upgrade mysql or mariaDB?
    - Apache/Ubuntu 18.04 (perfect server setup)
    - Debian 10 Apache (perfect server setup).

    Also, which versions are to be considered tested to avoid any latest that may cause issues or recommended?

    Tested is the version that comes with the Operating System.
    I upgrade MariaDB/MySQL when I upgrade Debian 10 to Debian 11.

    It is recommended to not upgrade to a newer MySQL or MariaDB version than the one which ships with the OS version that you use.
