Would love to see a current HowTo of setting up a Ubuntu Server using 6.06 LTS LAMP option with DHCP and SAMBA(DomainController) for a Windows domain users.

Basically want the Windows users to authenticate through the Domain on Linux and have their own directory to read/write to. The Windows users would automatically get the IP from the server.

I'm trying to convert the Breezy HowTo with the HowTo 6.06 LTS but not having much luck, getting confused because of the differences.

My ultimate goal is set up a complete Linux server @ home and have my windows/macs authenticate on the linux server with the internet connection through the server as well.

What are the exact problems you're facing? I haven't tried yet, but I think the tutorial should work on 6.06 as well.

Also, this tutorial might be interesting for you: http://www.howtoforge.com/debian_ebox
