Falko you are the genious. I want to thank you for hosting such a wonderful site. Can you please tell me how to set a dedicated IP to a website in ISPconfig? Thank you so much...
ISPConfig uses just namebased vhosts and not IP based vhosts, so you can not have a dedicated IP for one website.
Thank you for responding so quickly. 1.) How can I access the site externally if i don't have a real domain name yet. 2.) Once I get a realy domain name what do I have to do. I am only starting with one website for now. Thank you so much...

OK cool I have found a way to get a dedicated IP to work for one website. I changed the Vhosts_ispconfig.conf file. Then I rebooted and it worked. But now sometimes when I make a change in ispconfig depending on what I do it changes the Vhosts file back and then it doesn't work again. Is there any way in the commandline I can always make sure that one dedicated IP will always be accessed only to one website? Even if I have to make a change to make sure that the Vhosts file will never get changed again. How do I do that? Thank you so much for your help.
The Vhosts_ispconfig.conf is managed by ISPConfig, it can not be edited manually. http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19313 Register it and point it to the IP of your server. Thats not ISPConfig specific.
