Is there a canonical way to update howtos? Specifically the High-Availability Storage With GlusterFS On Ubuntu 9.10 is quite out of date and contains inaccuracies. I wouldn't mind updating it.
A howto on howtoforge is in most cases written for a specific Linux distribution and version, in this case Ubuntu 9.10. If you like to write a guide for a different (later) ubuntu version on the same topic, then please start a new tutorial. If we would update the old one, then information on how to configure the setup on the old ubuntu version would get lost which might be useful for users as reference e.g. when they have to migrate a setup. Please contact Falko e.g. by writing him a PM here in the forum if you like to reuse content from his tutorial.
Add "how to update" howtos into "Contribute" page? Ah nice thanks! It occurs to my that your answer is practically ready for press - could it be incorporated here: Contribute? Thank you till! *t
