How do we improve our ranking positions for Bing, Naver, Google and so on? Code: How do we improve our ranking positions for Bing, Naver, Google and so on? Behind the scene: Breaking rules of secrecy, we can state, that bringing your website to the top of Bing is not a big deal, if you follow some simple, fair rules: Website' performance test: https://gtmetrix.com; https://tools.pingdom.com; https://www.webpagetest.org; https://pagespeed.web.dev, - preclude eveything, which downgrades your total performance score, especially paying attention to Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) ≤ 2.5s, First Input Delay (FID) ≤ 100ms , Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) ≤ 0.25 (best ≤ 0.1), - as it is recommended by Google Confirm a website to a Search Engine, fulfilling with the path to the sitemap; Make you pages mobile-friendly: 1) text enough large to read; 2) clickable elements - not too close to each other; 3) content doesn't overflow horizontal size of screen ("overflow-x: hidden" - property is always useful). Enabling HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) The Guys from Ispconfig.org (Mr. Timme and Mr. Brehm) have invented splendid tool to provide you with fully-automatic signing to the Let's Encrypt: Full tutorial how to sign your website with other certifying centers and about many useful features of the ISP Config can be obtained from the Manual The content on the page should be easily accessible to the user; Enrich your website with the meta-tags: Plain tags (<meta name="description">, <title>); OpenGraph (og:title, og:type, og:image, og:url and some optional); Schema.org. Header Tags supply (h1, h2, h3..,) - mine experience, that H1 must be enabled on every page. Create so-called BACKLINKS - links from off-site resources to your property (without rel="nofollow"); Earn or Buy impressions and clicks for your URL; Make your texts, video, images unique! - these factors are pretty suitable for Bing search engine... but not enough for Google-ranking. Share your remedy, if so...
And Falko, one of my early co-developers, is not involved in the ISPConfig project anymore for more than ten years since he founded a hosting company
when i was mentioning that, i planned to note about other members, but... after checking the page: https://www.ispconfig.org/documentation/user-manual/ decided to leave as it is. My fault, Sir..!
And about Mr. Falko: - i was checking his hosting company earlier, and i wish i would see more amenable prices (with respect to Falko Timme)
No, there is absolutely no need to do that. I just wanted to mention it, as longtime ISPConfig users ask about Falko from time to time. Falko is still mentioned in the manual as he is the original author of the ISPConfig 3 manual, while I'm the main author of ISPConfig 3 software. I just did not had enough time to write both the software and the manual, so I asked Falko to write the manual for me as he was mainly working here on howtoforge writing tutorials at that time. And when we update the manual, we will keep him in the author list, of course
Bit confused: Have received notification about comment (#post-443486) but it has been vanished here Anyway, my reply to ClarMander (/members/clarmander.170725): - maybe, i am not good at searching in internet, but was unable to find something combining and summarizing... Moreover, idea was: somebody could help me complement the article.
