I just followed the HowTo at http://howtoforge.com/ntfs_3g_mandriva2007_spring to enable read and write access to the Windoze partitions on my PC using Mandriva. The installation only permitted write access to the VFat part of the Windoze filesystem. I can now write to the HPFS filesystem but cannot see any of the existing files or folders on the Windoze HPFS partitions. I could originally see them with the standard drivers though. I know they are still there as when I login to Windoze everything is visible . Anyone know of a way around this. I have a friend who uses Ubuntu on a dal boot machine and everything works fine. I am reluctant to install yet another OS on my machine and would rather persist with Mandriva Spring 2007. If anyone has a solution the help would be much appreciated.
