    Hello,
I upgraded from 2.15 to 2.16 and this was error I recieved. I need help, not able to figure it out..

    Here is the error:
/root/ispconfig/httpd/bin/apachectl stop: httpd (no pid file) not running
    ISPConfig system stopped!
    Starting ISPConfig system...
    /root/ispconfig/httpd/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd started

When I try to manually start it this is what I get:
    [root@mail install_ispconfig]# /etc/init.d/httpd start
shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory
Starting httpd: shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory
[Fri Sep 07 03:16:54 2007] [warn] NameVirtualHost XX.XXX.50.20:80 has no VirtualHosts

How do I fix this error?

    I got it

I figured it out It was a DNS issue. I tried moving the mail side over to another server. I fogot that the host name of the server was the dns information I was trying to redirect to another server. After changing my dns information back to the server that was having issues, everything was fixed. It was a six hour painfull learning lesson.

Even though it was painful, I still love ISPConfig! :D
