What modules do you use to get the thread posts to show up so quickly on Google searches! I am totally amazed at how fast Google updates it's search engine for hottoforge.org. I've seen my own posts show up when Googling for solutions as quickly as a minute!
Google & Sitemap I thought sitemaps only needed to be sent to Google when the overall layout of the site changed. Thanks for the info. Google must have figured out there is a lot of activity on How To Forge and Google likes such things!
Thats why spammers love this place. We (the Admins/Moderator) delete "lot's of" spam and ban spammers daily! It's almost a full time job!
For google this is a high quality site with lots of original content so the spider indexes stuff a lot more often than on other sites. Same goes fore news sites... as they constantly add stuff, they also get indexed a lot more
