Where do you add a new domain? I can see the ispconfig pages perfectly well, but I can't find I would add a domain. And yes, I do need new glasses!

The other problem is with mail. I seem to be able to receive it but not send it. Of course, this could be a client issue... password/SSL/TLS/whatever.

Oh yes. I'm running ubuntu 10.4.1 and followed the "Perfect Server" instructions which are superb!

    THanks for your help.

    Simon.

That depends on what this domain shall be used for:

    1) Email domains: Go to Email > Domain > Add New Domain
    2) Internet websites: Go to websites > website > Add new website
    3) DNS Records: Go to DNS > DNS Wizard > Add DNS zone

The email domain seems to work fine but, in the "add a website" page there is a drop down list for the domain and it's a null list.

I haven't looked at the DNS bit yet. I don't want to enable any DNS stuff until after I've got the rest working. :D

Did oyu enable the "Domain" module for your user account? If so, admin or your reseller has to add domains to ISPConfig, and afterwards you can select them from the drop-down menu.

If the domain module is disabled, then there's a text field for the domain, and you can enter whatever domain you like.
