I am using Postfix as IMAP-Server.
this works fine with a little flaw (not realy a problem, but i don't like it this way).
every other folder that the inbox is a SUBFOLDER of the inbox. Means send, trash and all folders i create are subfolders. Is there any possibility to config postfix, so that the folders are at the same level than the inbox (means OUTSIDE) the inbox?

Postfix is no IMAP server, it is only a MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) which stores mail in your Inbox. If you create a IMAP folder in your mailclient, this folder is created by the Imap Daemon. Which Imap daemon do you use? Courier, Dovecot or an other server?

Have you tried to create a imap folder in your mailclient e.g. thunderbird or outlook?
