Hi guys, i use Ubuntu 20.04 and ISPConfig 3.2 When i add an email account i need to put Imap and SMTP Server in the mail client. Now i use: server2.cl-i.net When i move the account to another server i have to change IMAP and SMTP as well which when i move more times and have many domains can be difficult for all users. Is there an option to put mail.domain.com instead of the servername? thanks a lot for your kind help
Yes. I would advice you to use imap.example.com for your imap server and smtp.example.com for your smtp server, in case you want to split.tjem out in the future. To secure it with a valid cert, follow https://www.howtoforge.com/securing...server-with-a-valid-lets-encrypt-certificate/
