I since removed the filter and restarted the necessary services but it is still appearing in the mail.log. I've also deleted the folder through the webmail client (Roundcube) which I installed separately and recreated it but no dice. Can anyone help please?!
Thanks for the reply. I kinda guessed the problem with the name. I included the . in front of the mailbox name when I created the filter initially as I didn't realise it was included for me by default. I've since deleted the filter, how can I get rid of this message and the associated mailbox? Cheers!
Check if the maildir with the wrong name still exists in /var/vmail/domain.com/user/.... If thats the case, delete it there on the shell.
This is what I'm seeing in the folder for this user: Code: drwx------ 10 vmail vmail 4096 2009-12-02 10:23 . drwx------ 7 vmail vmail 4096 2009-11-24 12:49 .. drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 4096 2009-12-01 19:05 courierimapkeywords -rw-r--r-- 1 vmail vmail 251 2009-12-01 14:34 courierimapsubscribed -rw-r--r-- 1 vmail vmail 3673 2009-12-02 10:23 courierimapuiddb drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 221184 2009-12-02 10:26 cur drwx------ 6 vmail vmail 4096 2009-11-20 18:42 .Drafts -rw-rw---- 1 vmail vmail 56 2009-12-02 09:32 ispconfig_mailsize drwx------ 6 vmail vmail 4096 2009-12-01 14:35 .Junk -rw-r--r-- 1 vmail vmail 1805 2009-12-02 10:23 maildirsize drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 163840 2009-12-02 09:34 new drwx------ 6 vmail vmail 4096 2009-12-01 12:53 .Sent drwx------ 2 vmail vmail 4096 2009-12-02 10:29 tmp drwx------ 6 vmail vmail 4096 2009-12-02 10:23 .Trash The .Junk folder is OK isn't it? Or shall I delete it. Thanks again dude.
Yes, the .Junk folder is ok. Take a look in the file courierimapsubscribed if the folder with the wrong name is still listed there and if thats the case, remove that line in the file.
