I have made my own hosting software, I did not know about ISPconfig, (Sorry), But, Now, I have just set up my own business, that requires this excellent software. I would say, that my software, is the missing part of ISPconfig. So instead of throwing mine away, I thought that it just might be possible, to make some connection, between the them. Is there some viable method, that allows me to inter/twin with ISPconfig, either calling it or putting information into the database that ISPconfig reads from or even making some special plug-in to read data externaly and bring it in. If some thing of this nature already exists it would probably save me weeks. If there is not, can you point me in the right direction to start creating it. =Two hours later===== I have just found the remoting_plugin. That looks as if it could do the trick. I will report later, when I have tested it.
I second your curiosity Is your software open source? Is there a link with some features, or screenshots. Maybe even a demo?
My Software I have been hosting on different servers for the last 20 years, and always had to work with various control panels to get the job done, today I have just one. For the moment, I have said to much, and I will have to keep quite until we open officially. My partner _really_ wants to me to make it open-source, I think it's very possible. I pride my self on my (excessively) tidy code, the reason it is tidy, is because I want to understand it, when I'm 60. My only drawback is that I cannot ask you guys to do the same. Or Can I ? We plan to open in about a months time. I will give details here so you can come and inspect, and tell me if its worth it. Thank you for your interest. John.
