Hi. Frist thank you and congrats for this new release. All want smooth on bare installation using auto-installation. I noticed one change, or my memories are just wrong. I prefer migrating my servers not in place, so I usually intall a new VM and process to migration by moving and rsync data using the systeme remote. I'm pretty sure last time I did my email migration, users were transfer with their associated password. This time the users are there but the password from the old server do not work on the new one. Maybe it is time for me to purchase the migration tool. Martin
Passwords should work the same way, nothing has changed in this regard. Maybe some password hashes are so old that Debian 13 is not able to decode them. The Migration Tool also just migrates the hashes, as the passwords can not be decoded.
