Dear all, I have foolow the different stages without any problem. All I think run fine when I try to compose an email with icedove. Until this stage all is ok. After composing the email I click on send. A window tells me "The message is copying to the sent directory" and the email doesn't go. Directly I go to mail.log and see the messages below. marina:~# tail -f /var/log/mail.log Sep 6 16:41:15 marina postfix/smtpd[27090]: connect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0. 1] Sep 6 16:41:18 marina postfix/smtpd[27090]: 0228D6EDD9: client=localhost.localdomain[12 7.0.0.1] Sep 6 16:41:24 marina postfix/cleanup[27029]: 0228D6EDD9: message-id=<46E01F3A.80209@dp i-arobasetelecom.ci> Sep 6 16:41:39 marina postfix/smtpd[27090]: disconnect from localhost.localdomain[127.0 .0.1] Sep 6 16:41:41 marina amavis[25729]: (25729-01) Passed CLEAN, LOCAL [192.168.2.1] [192. 168.2.1] <[email protected]> -> <[email protected]>, Message-ID: <46 [email protected]>, mail_id: sN6aQnZhmHfh, Hits: -1.44, queued_as: 0228 D6EDD9, 106307 ms Sep 6 16:41:42 marina postfix/smtp[27033]: AFE636EDD6: to=<[email protected]>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=111, delays=0.44/0.1/7.2/104, dsn=2.6.0, status =sent (250 2.6.0 Ok, id=25729-01, from MTA([127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as 0 228D6EDD9) Sep 6 16:41:48 marina postfix/qmgr[26794]: 0228D6EDD9: from=<admins@dpi-arobasetelecom. ci>, size=1183, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Sep 6 16:41:48 marina imapd-ssl: Connection, ip=[::ffff:192.168.2.1] Sep 6 16:41:49 marina postfix/qmgr[26794]: AFE636EDD6: removed Sep 6 16:41:49 marina imapd-ssl: chdir dpi-arobasetelecom.ci/admins/: No such file or d irectory Sep 6 16:41:56 marina postfix/smtp[27128]: 0228D6EDD9: to=<[email protected] >, orig_to=<[email protected]>, relay=none, delay=36, delays=31/5.5/0.33/0, dsn =5.4.6, status=bounced (mail for mail.dpi-arobasetelecom.ci loops back to myself) Sep 6 16:41:57 marina postfix/cleanup[27029]: 303DA6EDDB: message-id=<20070906154157.30 [email protected]> Sep 6 16:41:58 marina postfix/bounce[27131]: 0228D6EDD9: sender non-delivery notificati on: 303DA6EDDB Sep 6 16:41:58 marina postfix/qmgr[26794]: 303DA6EDDB: from=<>, size=3205, nrcpt=1 (que ue active) Sep 6 16:41:59 marina postfix/qmgr[26794]: 0228D6EDD9: removed Sep 6 16:41:59 marina postfix/smtp[27128]: 303DA6EDDB: to=<[email protected] >, relay=none, delay=2, delays=1.9/0.07/0/0, dsn=5.4.6, status=bounced (mail for mail.dp i-arobasetelecom.ci loops back to myself) Sep 6 16:42:00 marina postfix/qmgr[26794]: 303DA6EDDB: removed Sep 6 16:42:52 marina imapd-ssl: Connection, ip=[::ffff:192.168.2.1] Sep 6 16:43:01 marina imapd-ssl: chdir dpi-arobasetelecom.ci/admins/: No such file or directory Sep 6 16:43:13 marina postfix/smtpd[27090]: connect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1] Sep 6 16:43:22 marina postfix/smtpd[27090]: 1D68C6EDD6: client=localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1] Sep 6 16:43:28 marina postfix/cleanup[27029]: 1D68C6EDD6: message-id=<[email protected]> Sep 6 16:43:36 marina postfix/smtpd[27090]: disconnect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1] Sep 6 16:43:37 marina postfix/qmgr[26794]: 1D68C6EDD6: from=<[email protected]>, size=852, nrcpt=2 (queue active) Sep 6 16:43:40 marina amavis[25730]: (25730-01) Passed CLEAN, <[email protected]> -> <[email protected]>,<[email protected]>, Message-ID: <[email protected]>, mail_id: RR39s8F-jm+7, Hits: -0.001, queued_as: 1D68C6EDD6, 137617 ms Sep 6 16:43:45 marina postfix/smtp[27100]: 0C43F6EDDA: to=<[email protected]>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=159, delays=5.9/2.9/14/136, dsn=2.6.0, status=sent (250 2.6.0 Ok, id=25730-01, from MTA([127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as 1D68C6EDD6) Sep 6 16:43:48 marina postfix/smtp[27100]: 0C43F6EDDA: to=<[email protected]>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=159, delays=5.9/2.9/14/136, dsn=2.6.0, status=sent (250 2.6.0 Ok, id=25730-01, from MTA([127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as 1D68C6EDD6) Sep 6 16:43:49 marina imapd-ssl: Connection, ip=[::ffff:192.168.2.1] Sep 6 16:43:53 marina postfix/qmgr[26794]: 0C43F6EDDA: removed Sep 6 16:43:54 marina imapd-ssl: chdir dpi-arobasetelecom.ci/admins/: No such file or directory Sep 6 16:44:00 marina postfix/smtp[27128]: 1D68C6EDD6: to=<[email protected]>, relay=none, delay=23, delays=17/1.3/4.4/0, dsn=5.4.4, status=bounced (Host or domain name not found. hi Falko, It's right that there's no A record for my hostname via the command : dig marina.dpi-arobasetelecom.ci execute on an Internet machine. After you've gotten you public static IP address, you should create a hostname for it that points to your public IP and use that hostname in your Postfix configuration as well, because other mail servers can't resolve your internal hostname.

Hello Falko, I found the solution with my problem with the assistance of the community Forum Debian <[email protected]>. For having to carry out the command below mysql> select * from transport; +-----------------------+---------------------------------+ | domain | transport | +-----------------------+---------------------------------+ | dpi-arobasetelecom.ci | smtp:mail.dpi-arobasetelecom.ci | +-----------------------+---------------------------------+ 1 row in set (0.00 sec) mysql> delete from transport; Query OK, 1 row affected (0.08 sec) mysql> select * from transport; Empty set (0.00 sec) It was just necessary to remove the line dpi-arobasetelecom.ci | smtp:mail.dpi-arobasetelecom.ci | from the table transport so that the local emails are delivered. Thank you once again for patience and your support.
