Incomplete upgrade

    Hi everyone:
    I tried to upgrade from Fedora 13 to 14 using preupgrade utility. During the installation of packages, my damned laptop overheated and died. Thus I got a incomplete status. I can still boot using the old kernel and log into desktop, but many utilities are broken.
    How can I resolve this problem? Can I repair upgrade this mess using a F14 DVD, or I have to re-install the system?

    Have you tried to start the upgrade again from the beginning?

    have you tried rerunning the preupgrade and install as root?

    I tried. It failed, because it seems there's something wrong with a python module.
    Now I've re-installed everything.
