    Hello,
some hours ago i've update ubuntu from 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS
i've updated ispconfig to dev version too, so all services config file are updated but in /var/log/ispconfig/cron.log I see:

lun 14 lug 2014, 18.30.02, CEST PHP Deprecated: mysql_connect(): The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead in /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/classes/db_mysql.inc.php on line 507

    is it normal?

    It is normal.

This type of upgrade certainly breaks many things which used to work. :D

You mean you upgraded to the developer version? Thats pure untested dev code which cant be used to run a real server as many functions are only partially implemented

yes, all works fine for now. but I think that (if is possible) i will return to stable version.

I gave a look at the file db_mysql.inc.php and I noticed that some things have been written with mysql others with mysqli

Returning to stable is only possible with the next major release (3.1) in automn this year.
