Title: FTP SSL Encryption - TLS 1.3 Support Inquiry Post: Hi everyone, I was going through the Help/FAQ section of a previously installed ISPConfig system and noticed the following information about FTP: FTP runs over port 21, but only accepts SSL-encrypted connections (up to TLS 1.2, no TLS 1.3!) I wanted to check if this restriction is still valid. Specifically, does FTP still only support up to TLS 1.2, or has there been an update to support TLS 1.3? Any insights or updates on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
for pure-ftpd which ispconfig uses states, for 1.0.48 (latest release is 1.0.52) so it depends really on what ftp server software you're using and what ftp client you use.
