    Greetings,

I am attempting to install IPConfig-2.2.16 on my newly installed Debian etch system. I followed the directions at: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_debian_etch. I am installing ISPConfig as a xen domU running a 64bit kernel. I applied the fix described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9159&highlight=openssl which allows for openssl to compile w/o errors against the 64bit kernel.

My problem now is when apache is being installed and the mkcert.sh script is called to generate the certificate, everything appears to be fine but when the script is generating the cert it seems to enter an infinite loop:

    please advise,

I had the same - but no answers or hints because I havn't fixed the problem on my OpenSuSE 10.1 x86_64 system. :(

I switched to Ubuntu 6.10 on my vServer and I didn't have to fight with such things there. ;-)

    Bye
