Install Munin and Monit before or after ISPconfig?

    Hello

    I would like to use Munin and Monit only in ISPconfig.
    Can I install Munin and Monit before installing ISPconfig?

    Or should I do it later with the following guide:
    Server Monitoring with Munin and Monit on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

    After, since ISPConfig is advisable to be installed on a fresh / clean server.

    I guess both would be fine. But personally I would install it after you installed ISPConfig like @ahrasis suggested. The main reason is that log files and services that you probably want to monitor do not exist when you install munin and monit before you install the services to be monitored.
