Hello. I have IPSConfig 3 installed. I want to install a wildcard certificate of comodo for a new site (subdomain.mycompany.com, por example). The comodo certificate has the following files: STAR_mycompany_com.crt COMODORSADomainValidationSecureServerCA.crt COMODORSAAddTrustCA.crt AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt In the SSL tab of my website I have: SSL Key SSL Request SSL Certificate SSL Bundle Please, you can indicate to me that I have to put each ISPCOnfig field. Finally, I will only have a single website, in "SSL Domain" I will have to configure "*.subdomain.mycompany.com" or "subdomain.mycompany.com". Thanks in advance. Regards.
No, but it would have been easier for you if you had created it in ISPConfig. You seem to lack the certificate key now as there is no .key file and without a key, the ssl cert is uselsess. What you need is the certificate key, the certificate itself and the SSL bundle (chain certificates) and these need to be inserted into the fields with the matching names.
I have the certificate key now, but I don't know what file of the 4 files of comodo is the certificate itself. I also don't know how to build the SSL bundle. Can you help me. Thanks.
The SSL certificate is in the file STAR_mycompany_com.crt. Regarding the other files, ask comodo support which one is needed as chain cert.
Ok, i ask to comodo support. Can you help me with other query: I will only have a single website, in "SSL Domain" I will have to configure "*.subdomain.mycompany.com" or "subdomain.mycompany.com". Thanks.
It does not matter as this setting is relevant only when you create a new ssl certificate. Personally I would set it to subdomain.mycompany.com
