Installation of Magento 1.6

Hello,

i have several problems installing Magento 1.6 in my ISPConfig 3.0.3.3 environment. I'm able to start the Magento Installation Wizard, but after the first few steps i receive "HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error)" error.
My settings in ISPConfig for the specific website are:
CGI X
SSI X
SuEXEC X
Own Error-Documents X
PHP - FAST-CGI


Also change the ownership of the files to the specific client user and group. And change the permissions to 755 / 777

Could anyone help me with this? Tnx!

 

Are there any errors in Apache's error log?

 

After 4 days of work I finally fixed it by re installing PHP completely.. very very strange...
