Edit- just noticed the moronic title I used for this thread. Should be "Installation without Spamassassin" ... eesh :s

    Hey all,

Am wanting to install ISPConfig onto my new Ubuntu Gutsy server.

However, I don't particularly want to use spamassassin on it as I have it running on another local machine already.

So, is it possible to install ISPConfig without it, or if I stick it on then install, will it all (obviously apart from the spamassassin bits) still work if I remove it after?

    Thanks,

You can not install ISPConfig without spamassassin and removing it is a bad idea too. But if you just do not enable the spam scab checkbox in you user accounts, it is not used or started at all.
