I was thinking it wasnt installing Letsencrypt because the checkboxes kept unchecking. After the third time of this happening I looked at the .vhost file and saw that SSL was actually installed, even though the 2 letsencrypt checkboxes remain unchecked. Never saw that before. Could it be mismatched versions of ISPconfig? Master has 3.2.9 p1 and slave webserver has 3.2.8 p1 Thanks!

You must always use the same ISPConfig version on all nodes of a Multiserver system. So the first step to narrow down the issue is to update both systems to the current ISPConfig version. I checked this morning and the Letsencrypt boxes were checked!! I swear they were not checked yesterday when I opened the ticket. Sorry. Not sure whats going on. May be realated to that other ticket I opened up about 1621 updates showing to go.
