Hi, As previously mentioned I'm installing additional versions of PHP on our Debian 10 server by following this article: https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial...and-9/#-add-the-repository-at-packagessuryorg When I add the repository and do an `apt-get upgrade` as suggested, then a lot of packages are being held back. If I add --with-new-pkgs then all packages are installed and nothing is being held back. I just don't feel comfortable doing so when this is not mentioned in the article. It is perfectly safe to allow apt-get to install new dependencies with --with-new-pkgs in an ISPConfig 3 environment, right ? - Thanks
By the way, there's a bug in the article (selected text): Options should point to directories, not files. https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial...rom-debian-packages-on-debian-8-and-9/#php--6
I won't expect any issues. that you have packages that are held back is probably caused by your system being older and not freshly installed.
