Very quick question, when installing debian for this guide, is the installation exactly how you described in the perfect debian setup, or are there any diffrences?

Also what would you recomend for partions.
    I was thinking
1 gig swap (256 meg of ram)
    10 gig /var/spool
    20 gig /
    49 gig /home

All raid 1, two hard drives.

It's exactly as described on the first two pages of the Debian "Perfect Setup".

All mail boxes will be in /home, so there's no need to have an extra partition for /var/spool.

    Thanks,

and the 49 gig /home is for the mail boxes, I was under the idea that its a good idea to have a seprate partiton for the spool, was I wrong?

The setup uses Maildir so all mail boxes are stored in /home, not in /var/spool/mail.
