Installing on pre-setup Plesk server

    I recently ordered a server (not virtual) from a data center which came preconfigured with Plesk. So MySQL, DNS, Apache, Mail..... etc are all setup and managed via the Plesk panel.

    Long story short, Plesk is causing issues so I want to uninstall now that I have disabled Plesk, and install ISPConfig, which I have used in the past with great success.

    Question is: Do I need to start from scratch, or will ISPConfig work with all the preconfigured services? I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

    I fear that you will have to start from scratch, as plesk configured the services in a way that they wont work with ispconfig anymore.
