Hi, i only use mysever and ispconfig for my own sites. I wish to install instantssl cert so it is used by mail server etc. Do setup as per guide Enable SSL for the ISPConfig 3 Controlpanel Login or do just add to my main domain that is used server using guide Configuring SSL certificate to website ISPConfig 3 cheers
If you want to use the cert for a website as well, I'd use the latter guide. You can use the website's cert also to secure the ISPConfig control panel and Postfix. If you don't want to use SSL for a website, I'd use the first guide. But overall, it also depends on the domains/hostnames included in the cert and the domains/hostnames that you want to use for your services.
