We're looking at switching from a different control panel to ISPConfig3. We tried gnupanel but after initial setup it wouldn't work. I was just wondering how easy ISPConfig3 is to set up?

I found "The Perfect Server - Debian Lenny (Debian 5.0) [ISPConfig 3]" on the ISPConfig website with 5 pages of how-to, my question is if we have to install all these programs manually before ISPConfig, or will the installer install them for us?

    Thanks!

ISPConfig 3 is very easy to install. Just follow exactly the guide "The Perfect Server - Debian Lenny (Debian 5.0) [ISPConfig 3]" which describes all steps that are nescessary to install ispconfig.

Yes, otherwise they were not written in the installation guide.

awesome :) and it should get everything working, including the nameservers? Basically we just do our own websites so we just need to setup a nameserver and be able to domains with email, mysql and ftp.

    Thanks!

Yes, all functions to run a hosting server are included.
