    Hi,
I am having an intermittent problem with DNS.

I am hosting some vitual domains, through my ISP. Fixed IP address.
Occationally my ISPs nameservers seem to loose the information for one of the domains. It can be a different domain each time. Anyone outside of the ISP is able to contact the site, but anyone using the ISP is unable to connect. This rectifies itself with the next DNS update.

I contacted the ISP and here was the response:

Does my DNS server need to resolve ns1.mynameserver.com.au ? as I thought that was done by the registrar.

I am using Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn with perfect setup.

It all works well most of the time, it kust this one little annoying issue.

    Thanks.

Is your own server the authoritive DNS Server for the domains? If not, make sure that you delete all domains in the ispconfig-dns manager, wait a few minutes and then empty all recycle bin's in the dns manager. Then make sure that you do not enable the create dns or create mx checkboxes in ispconfig when you create a new website.
