I have working ispconfig3 with my custom dns server-love it

i would like to make one site ssl (https)

Instructions require setting up some ip's on the ispconfig3 configuration. That brings me to the question:

Ispconfig3 have several places to enter ip addresses.
Do i ever use external ip (or all is like i have it now internal ip) of the ispconfig server?

so where to enter internal and where to use external ip addresses? in connection of the ispconfig server configuration.

    Thank you

I use router to do the external to internal traffic control with open ports/redirection.

The external IP address is only used for DNS records. Do not enter them in the server IP list, the server IP list is only for internal IP addresses.

    Ok lets move on

#1:In what scenario would I use multiple IP addressees in the System>"Edit Server IP" if only internal IPs are used here?

    #2:In System>"Server Config" >click on ISPC3 server host name> Name Servers : ???.???.???.???

should I use the external IP of my domain (that points to my network router that directs traffic on my internal network) OR the internal IP of the actual server or bouth? The server is master of the DNS for the domains hosted here.Regardless what I chose they all work fine(what does not surprise me as destination will end up the same) just wonder what is the proper way.I suspect that even 127.0.0.1 would work in my scenario.

External IP is registered with my registrar as custom server. So all resolution of domain names i host and point to my custom DNserver is processed on Ispconfig3 DNServer
