Hi there. I'm relatively new working with VPS and these things and am still a learner. I was trying to install IPSConfig 3 after installing OSSEC, I got a bunch of errors, so I reset my machine and installed ISPConfig 3 first and am now trying to install OSSEC. The installation succeeds, but as soon as I activate OSSEC, my ISPConfig 3 system stops working. No sites are visitable, SSH stops working, SCP stops working. I followed this article to install ISPC: https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/ispconfig-automated-install-script/ The VPS is a Debian 9 installation. I would appreciate your kind assistance on getting this sorted
Review your ossec.conf file, maybe there is a firewall configuration there that block access to machine.
