maybe someone can help me find the file where the rules are stored
i believe fail2ban stores its data somewhere and i have no cleu on how to do all the comand lines so i like to edit it manually

normally i use webmin but that does not work with ipsconfig and fail2ban

Faila2ban does not store the ruls in a file, they are stored directly in iptables. you can unban an IP with the fail2ban commands.

You can use webmin with ispconfig as well. just be careful to ot edit files that were managed by ispconfig. But fail2ban is not managed by ispconfig, so you can edit it freely with webmin.
