Hoping someone can help me out here, normally I would muddle my way through stuff like this for the sake of learning but I just got back from hospital after a heart attack and whilst I was gone my service was updated to include static IPV6 and I really haven't got the paitence or motivation at the moment to nut out my IPV6 PTR Records.

    Given the following ip adresses

    Does this entry look OK?

The PTR record is usually created at your network provider.

I hope you feel better soon.

Not in this case, as far as I can ascertain. they give you a static IPV6 and the rest is up to me :(

Without counting decimal places, that looks pretty close other than you need a period on the end of the hostname. Try http://rdns6.com/hostRecord for cut/paste of the hostname.
